I'm a Sony fanboy so Blu-ray is needed. You can't play games without Blu-ray period.
I'm a 360 fanboy Blu-ray is not needed. There are more than 200 games on the 360 and none have blu-ray.
Give it a rest if you have a PS3 stop using threads to justify your purchase. It is what it is. Bottom line the xbox 1.5 sure has some nice games and at the end of the day that is what matters.
I got Gears for Horde and single player. Horde online is very fun. The unbalanced weapons in the first Gears has kept me away from the multi-player all together. I wonder if you can just roll and stick grenade your self to victory.
NPD proves them wrong all the time. I hope that the PS3 does get a price drop in 09 because I need KZ2 baby.
I have 10/20 net speed and I have a 50" sammy 1080p TV. These videos looked like VHS quality on my TV. The movie selection also sucks bad. Shame on M$ and netflix for this half a$$ attempt at VOD. I will stick to my FIOS VOD HD streaming thank you.
No game ever looks the same in a web video as it does on your TV through your console. The PS3 is great and as long as you know that then who cares what others think.
BTW these look the same in the real world, but since this is N4G the PS3 version looks better.
also no game if 100% perfect and I'm sure KZ2 will not be either.
If you like Killzone 2 then get it. I have watched and downloaded lots of video of this game. I plan to get a PS3 when Killzone 2 drops I don't care what IGN says about this game. I hope that you guys do the same. The fact that you are giving IGN web hits for this is crazy in it's self. Go out and get Killzone 2 on launch day and shatter the release day record.

after all that it is sure to not make it past 09. 09 is the end of the 360.

hey there are others in my house. I often game on the other HD sets in my house and other people watch movies in my house. Blu-ray movies are great and I will need players in my other rooms as well. Why would I put a PS3 in all my rooms. I saw a BR player for $130 and that would be good for my bed room. If BR movies came packed with the DVD version then I would not need more players but I would be crazy to purchase the BR and DVD version of a movie. That is the one thing holding me back ...
now just improve the vid quality from VHS to at least DVD and I just my try this again. I have a netflix trail contract after the NXE update but I canceled it. The netflix streaming is a joke. BTW before a fanboy bashes me I have a 50"1080p TV and 10/20 net speed.
Now how about those sub $200 players. I plan to get a PS3 and a stand alone player. I rahter not use my console for movies.
Sony fangirls got their thongs twisted up. Who cares what M$ says if you enjoy your PS3 then that should be good enough for you. Just go out and keep supporting Sony by purchasing games.
I will say the PS3 version looks the best. With the power of the cell,RSX and blu-ray the PS3 dominates. In the real world I will say that they look the same.
Don't campare PS2 GFX to 360 GFX.
